Clear Piping Gel

Piping Gel is a transparent, sticky gel which can be used for many of your cake decorating projects. The gel is often used as an edible glue for sticking sugar paste or marzipan decorations together. You can also cover your cupcakes or a dummy with it to stick sugar paste on top. Or apply a wafer to a cake with piping gel. Finally we often see piping gel used in cake decorating for applying water effects to cakes. In short, a real must-have for every cake decorator!

Clear Piping Gel

Glucose syrup, water, saccharose, gelling agent: E406, acid: E330, preservative: E202.

May contain traces of: soy, milk, sulphur dioxide and sulphites (E220-E228) at concentrations of more than 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/l, expressed as SO2.

Store in a cool, dry place, 15-20°C.

Other products

The piping gel is colour- and tasteless. Using piping gel in your cake decorating projects will therefore not affect the look or taste of your treats. For example, if you want to apply a wafer to your cake, piping gel is ideal for this because you cannot see the transparent gel through the image.

You can also use the piping gel as a border for a picture on the cake. First pipe the outlines with the gel, then colour the figure. Use a disposable decorating bag to pipe the gel.
