Panda marshmallow lollipops

  • FunCakes Deco Melts – Extreme White
  • FunColours Brush Food Pen – Black
  • FunCakes disposable decorating bag – 30 cm
  • Pre-made FunCakes royal icing, colored black and diluted to yoghurt thickness
  • Wilton Lollipop sticks – 15 cm
  • Wilton parchment paper
  • Microwave safe bowl
  • 1 dummy of random size
  • Bag of marshmallows

Cover a baking tray with a piece of parchment paper and put the thin black royal icing in a piping bag. Cut off a small tip, pipe small equal balls on the baking paper and let them dry well. Ideally you do this one day in advance in order for it to dry well.
Heat the Deco Melts at 450W in the microwave while occasionally stirring. When it is almost completely melted, remove it from the microwave and stir away the last visible pieces in the warm melts. Stick the marshmallows on a lollipop stick and dip them in the melts. Tap off the excess on the edge of the bowl and stick them in the dummy. Dip 5 at a time and let it set in the refrigerator for 5 minutes. Once you have dipped all the marshmallows, you can slightly thicken the melts with a drop of water and remove all the black balls from the baking paper. Put the thick melts in a piping bag, pipe two small balls on top of the marshmallows and place the black balls upright into the icing. Leave to stiffen again in the refrigerator. Finally make eyes and a nose on the marshmallows with the black food pen.
