Preparation:
Prepare the cookie dough as indicated on the package or in this basic recipe , wrap it in plastic foil and let it rest for one hour to stiffen in the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C convection oven) and cover a baking tray with parchment paper. Knead the dough again until smooth and roll it out on a with Magic Roll-Out Powder covered working surface to a thickness of 2-3 mm. Stick out as many bears as you have dough. Place them on the baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let them cool on the counter. Prepare the royal icing as indicated on the package or in this basic recipe. Then dilute the icing with water to yoghurt thickness. Divide it into two portions and color 1 half black with the black dust powder. Fill tow piping bags with the royal icing and decorating tip #3. First ice the white parts of the bears, let this dry for an hour and then continue with icing the rest with black royal icing. Use the needle tool to distribute it nicely and get into all corners. Let the cookies dry well. Roll out the black fondant very thinly on a working surface sprinkled with cornstarch and use the cutting wheel to make ovals for the eyes. Make small balls of black fondant to create the noses and the pupils. Glue this carefully with some edible glue on the cookies.
