Panda candy bark

  • FunCakes Deco Melts – Black
  • FunCakes Deco Melts – Extreme White
  • Little bit of FunCakes fondant – Elegant Ivory
  • Little bit of FunCakes fondant – Spring Green
  • FunColours Dust – Milk Chocolate
  • FunColours Dust – Ivy Green
  • FunColours Dust – Snow White
  • White flowers from the FunCakes Sugar Decorations Little Flowers Set/32
  • Wilton parchment paper
  • Karen Davies silicone mould – Bamboo by Alice
  • Wilton brush set/5
  • Two microwave safe bowls
  • Skewer

Use the Karen Davies mould to make some bamboo and leaves, use the ivory fondant for the bamboo and the spring green fondant for the leaves. Cut the bamboo into small pieces with a knife and dust them light green first. After this, you lightly dust it again with a mixture of white and brown dust to give it the right color. Put the two colors of melts separately in a bowl and heat them at 450W in the microwave while occasionally stirring. When it’s almost completely melted, remove it from the microwave and stir out the still visible pieces in the warm melts. Divide the two colours of melts onto a with parchment paper covered baking tray and marble it slightly with a skewer. Immediately place the bamboo, leaves and flowers into the still soft melts. Let it stiffen for 10-15 minutes in the refrigerator and then store at room temperature.
