Mini chicken and egg cupcakes

Materials: 

  • 500 gram FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes
  • 125 gram FunCakes Mix for Buttercream
  • FunCakes Edible FunColours Gel – Brown
  • FunCakes Marzipan decorations Chicken and Egg
  • 400 gram soft unsalted butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 125 ml water
  • FunCakes disposable decorating bags 46 cm
  • Wilton decorating tip #233
  • Wilton Recipe Right mini muffin pan
  • Brown bakings cups, for example the craft baking cups from House of Marie

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Prepare 125 gram of Mix for Buttercream and 500 gram Mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the packages or in the basic recipes for buttercream and cupcakes . Place the baking cups in the muffin pan. Fill a decorating bag with the cupcake batter, cut off a the tip and fill the cups with batter. Bake the cakes for 18-20 minutes. Repeat this once for the rest of the batter.

Now colour the buttercream with the brown FunColours gel. Fill a decorating bag with tip #233 with the cream and pipe little nests on the cakes. Place the chickens and eggs in it.
