Witch hat brownies

Materials:

  • 360 gram FunCakes Mix for Brownies
  • FunCakes Bake Release Spray
  • 150 gram FunCakes Fondant Raven Black
  • 150 gram FunCakes Fondant Royal Purple
  • 40 gram FunCakes Fondant Mellow Yellow
  • FunCakes edible glue
  • FunCakes icing sugar to roll out on
  • 2 eggs
  • 40 gram soft butter
  • 75 ml water
  • Apricot jelly
  • Wilton deep round baking pan 20cm
  • Wilton parchment paper
  • Wilton lollipop sticks 20cm
  • Wilton rolling pin
  • Wilton cooling grid
  • Mini square plunger cutter set, e.g. from PME
  • Metallic golden paint
  • Brush
  • Scharp knife

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection oven 160°C). Prepare 360 gram Mix for Brownies as indicated on the package or in this basic recipe. Fill a lubricate baking pan with the batter and bake the brownie in 40 minutes ready. Let the cake cool down on a cooling grid. Cut the brownie into 8 slices.

Roll out the purple and the black fondant on a with icing sugar covered work surface. Cut out triangles of the size of the slices. Lubricate the slices with a bit of warm apricot jelly and paste the triangles on top.

Roll out the yellow fondant thinly and cut out strips. Use two sizes of the plunger cutter to make the buckles. Paste the strips and the buckles the hats and paint them gold. Insert a stick in the bottom and decorate them with a ribbon.
