Train cookies

Materials:

  • 500 gram of FunCakes Mix for Cookies
  • FunCakes Fondant Multipack Essential Colours 5x100g
  • FunCakes Fondant Bright White
  • 1 egg
  • 150 gram of unsalted butter
  • FunCakes Magic Roll-Out Powder
  • FunCakes edible glue
  • Wilton Wide Glide rolling pin
  • Wilton parchment paper
  • Train and carriage cutters, for example from FMM
  • Cloud cutter
  • Brush
  • Cling film

Preparation:
Prepare 500 gram of Mix for Cookies as indicated on the package or in this basic recipe. Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Get the dough out of the fridge and knead it until it becomes flexible again, roll it out on a with Magic Roll-Out Powder covered work surface until a thickness of 2 to 3 mm and cut out the trains and carriers and some clouds. Place them on a baking plate with parchment paper and bake the cookies in 10-12 minutes. Let them cool off completely before decorating.

Knead the different colours of fondant until it’s flexible, roll it out on a with Magic Roll-Out Powder covered work surface until a thickness of 2 mm and cut out trains, carriers and clouds again. Cover the cookies with edible glue and place the fondant trains on top of them.

Tip! Do you have some dough left? Save it in the freezer for later use!
