Sweet Belgian Waffles

Simply add butter, water, an egg and pearl sugar to the mixture and you can start with baking robust waffles according to original Liege recipes.

Preparation:
Ingredients need to be at room temperature. Use a mixer with dough hooks to mix 500g mix, 150 g of (cream) butter, 175 ml of water and 1 egg (50 g) in approximately 3-4 minutes into a smooth dough. Mix 200 g FunCakes Pearl Sugar with 20 g of slightly melted (cream) butter. Mix the mixture of pearl sugar and butter for 30 seconds through the dough. Preheat waffle iron and grease both baking grids. Make dough balls of 70 g (approximately 15 pieces). Bake the waffles for 3-4 minutes in the waffle iron until they are golden brown. If desired, garnish the waffle with whipped cream or fresh fruit.
