Spooky eyes cupcakes

Materials:

  • 500 gram FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes
  • 200 gram FunCakes Mix for Buttercream
  • FunCakes Flavour Paste Lemon
  • FunCakes Edible FunColours Gel – Purple
  • FunCakes Edible FunColours Gel – Bright Green
  • FunCakes Edible FunColours Gel – Orange
  • FunCakes Sugar Decorations Eyes round
  • FunCakes decorating bags 30 cm
  • 5 eggs
  • 250 + 250 gram soft unsalted butter
  • 200 ml water
  • Wilton Decorating Tip #2A (3x)
  • Wilton -Recipe Right- 12 cup muffin pan
  • Metallic green baking cups, e.g. PME
  • Metallic purple baking cups, e.g. PME
  • Ice cream spoon

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Prepare 200 gram of Mix for Buttercream and 500 gram of Mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the package or in the basic recipes for buttercream and cupcakes. Fill the baking cups using an ice cream spoon with the cupcake batter and bake for 20 minutes until they’re golden brown. Let them cool down on the kitchen counter.

Flavour the buttercream to taste with the lemon flavouring. Divide the cream into three portions and colour them with the colourings. Place the tips in the bags and fill them up with the cream. Pipe in a circular motion swirls on the cupcakes. Press the eyes on the swirls. Place the cupcakes in the fridge until you server them.
